search_literal
GET/api/v1/search_literal
Full-text search over legal sources with OpenSearch (BM25) only: no vector search and
no reranking, so it is faster than GET /api/v1/search and matches the words of q
rather than their meaning. Results come in BM25 relevance order.
When q cites a single article of a Polish act (for example art. 5 kc), that
article (current version, within the request's filters) is the first result on
page 1 with the default sort_by=score, even if BM25 did not rank it. Page 1 still
holds at most page_size results: if that article is not among page 1's BM25 results, it
replaces the last of them when page 1 is full, or is added when BM25 returned fewer than
page_size results. Page 2 continues after the replaced result (so it is not repeated),
and pagination_info.total counts BM25 results only. Only page 1 is deduplicated: if
BM25 ranks the pinned article on page 2 or later, it appears there again.
Rate limits per API key: 20 requests per minute and 200 per day (the daily quota is
shared with GET /api/v1/search only). Over a limit the API answers 429 with a
Retry-After header.
